Blue-green Algae Advisory

Protecting our watershed today to ensure a vibrant Muskoka legacy for tomorrow.

The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit has lifted the public advisory regarding blue green algae on Brandy Lake as of September 24th. The first sample taken the week of July 29 was nontoxic, and the second sample, taken the week of Sept. 17th by the Ministry of Environment Conservation and Parks has confirmed the original nontoxic results.
